In a recent development, the Rohingya Maìyafuìnor Collaborative Network made a significant visit to Pidie Camp, where 152 Rohingya individuals have sought refuge. Our team engaged in meetings with the children, women, and men, ensuring that every voice was heard.
During these vital interactions, we uncovered a shared aspiration among the parents – a deep thirst for education for their children. Recognising the urgency of this need, we wasted no time. We promptly relayed this pressing matter to stakeholders both in Aceh and Jakarta.
We are pleased to report that there is a growing sense of commitment among these stakeholders to address the educational needs of the children. It appears that we are on the path toward making quality education a reality for the young Rohingya members in Pidie Camp. This promising development demonstrates the impact of collective advocacy and collaboration in bringing about positive change in the lives of the Rohingya community.
Stay tuned for further updates as we work towards ensuring the right to education for these children, and thank you for your unwavering support. Together, we are making a difference.
