what we do

Our Impact

As a collective of Rohingya women who are experts in various field, our experience in advocacy and human rights protection span over 2 decades collectively. As an organization, our efforts have achieved significant milestones, especially in narratives change, within a short period of time. We have heightened awareness about the Rohingya genocide along with the accompanied humanitarian crisis while offering sustainable solutions with multi-dimensional approach. We have garnered support for our initiatives globally and cultivated a network of allies dedicated to our cause. Positive changes have been witnessed in the lives of Rohingya refugees providing them with hope, and access to opportunities for a brighter future in Aceh, Indonesia and beyond. We are committed to carry out this work carefully, compassionately and empathetically with the best interests of our community as a guiding principle throughout the region of Southeast Asia as it is one of the main areas of refuge for the community after Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. These values inform and guide our daily efforts to make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of the Rohingya people and to uphold their universal inalienable human rights. As ASEAN is our home, Rohingya people have as much stake in the systemic change of the region as others, to be better equipped in the protection of vulnerable groups. Our work to centre and include Rohingya will be imperative to the meaningful changes and strengthen the pathways towards sustainable peace for the region.
